Dompet Dhuafa USA (DD-USA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering underserved communities worldwide through transformative programs focused on sustainable development, humanitarian aid, and education. Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Zakat, Infaq, Sadaqah, and Waqf Management: Oversee the collection, management, and distribution of Zakat, Infaq, Sadaqah, and Waqf funds, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and aligning with our mission. 
  • Program Management: Lead and manage impactful programs and initiatives across the USA and Indonesia, ensuring effective implementation and outcomes. Oversee the strategic distribution of funds to support these initiatives. 
  • Syi’ar Implementation: Lead the implementation of syi’ar activities (Islamic teachings and values) in the USA, promoting cultural understanding and community engagement. 
  • Organizational Administration: Manage day-to-day administrative tasks, including preparing and presenting monthly reports to the Board of Directors (BOD) to track progress and ensure alignment with organizational goals. 

Qualifications and Skills: 

  • Proven success as an Executive Director, Program Manager, or Project Manager, with a track record of leading and scaling non-profit programs. 
  • Demonstrated experience in managing large teams, complex projects, and fundraising efforts through long-term program implementations. 
  • Strong knowledge of current program management methods and best practices for non-profit organizations. 
  • Experience in managing staff, resources, and budgets efficiently to meet program goals. 
  • Excellent data analysis, reporting, and performance-tracking skills, with the ability to present insights to stakeholders effectively. 
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-culturally and across diverse teams. 

Education and Experience: 

  • Proven experience in managing multi-project budgets and overseeing complex program budgets. 
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (BA) is required; a Master’s Degree (MA) is preferred. 
  • 3-6 years of relevant experience, including progressive responsibility in fundraising, program/project management, or non-profit operations is preferred. 

Compensation: 

  • Lump-sum monthly payment (specific amount to be discussed upon offer). 

Implementation and Working Time: 

  • Work Location: Primarily remote, with occasional on-site activities or events that require attendance. Must legally reside in the USA. 
  • Work Schedule: Flexible hours, with an average of 25-30 hours per week to achieve weekly and monthly work targets. 

Training and Support: 

  • The Executive Director (ED) will receive comprehensive online training on Dompet Dhuafa’s business processes in the USA, including preparation for routine tasks such as RKAT (Annual Work Plan) and performance reports. 
  • ED will be supported by staff with a clearly defined division of labor to ensure effective and efficient operations. 
  • ED will participate in leadership workshops and other professional development opportunities to enhance their skills and capacity. 
  • The Board of Directors and the Network Development Division (Pengjar) of Dompet Dhuafa Central will provide ongoing direction and support. 
  • ED will be assisted by volunteers who will be recruited to support organizational initiatives during their tenure.
