Welcome Afghan New Neighbors

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: “The Messenger of Allah said: ‘Whoever relieves a Muslim of some worldly distress, Allah will relieve him of some of the distress of the Day of Resurrection (Sunan Ibn Majah).

From the hadith above, it is clearly stated that whoever helps another Muslim from troubles in this world, Allah will relief some of the distress during Qiyamah. Dompet Dhuafa USA is dedicated to relieving the stress which many of the refugees from Afghanistan in America are going through. Because of the overwhelming 76,000 of Afghanistan refugees that came to America, the majority of the case workers that are assigned to assist the refugee families are not able to care for the refugee families. 

It is our duty as Muslims to step up and help our brothers and sisters that are in need. Many of these families are struggling in their financial, living, clothing, and even food necessities. Dompet Dhuafa USA in collaboration with many other organizations, strive to provide these basic necessities that are needed by the Afghan refugee families.
