Sadaqah refers to a voluntary act of charity that is performed with the sole purpose of pleasing Allah (swt). In Arabic, sadaqah stems from the word ‘sidq’ that means sincerity. It signifies a righteous behavior that manifested from the sincerity of faith. Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) often reminded us to perform charity. The prophet assured us that sadaqah does not decrease wealth (HR. Muslim), and he implored us to give charity without delay, for it stands in the way of calamity (Al-Tirmidhi).
Sadaqah leads to a thriving society, especially since it can benefit a wider range of recipients, regardless of race, religion, gender and national origin. Your generous sadaqah will benefit orphans, homeless, disabled, elderlies and many others, depending on the most urgent needs.
Give your sadaqah to DD USA and empower those who are underprivileged and need our help the most.
