This year, Qurbani Giving 2026 reached approximately 1,935 beneficiary families, distributed across 2 countries, 10 provinces, and 40 regencies.
More importantly, behind every number is a family gathered around a meal, a child experiencing the joy of Eid, and a community reminded that they are not forgotten.
Ensuring Every Trust Reaches Those Who Need It Most
Delivering qurbani is not simply about distributing meat. It is about ensuring that every donation reaches the right people, in the right place, and at the right time.
To achieve this, Dompet Dhuafa USA worked closely with a network of trusted local partners, farmer cooperatives, community organizations, Islamic foundations, and Dompet Dhuafa regional offices. Together, they ensured that qurbani animals were sourced responsibly, slaughtered according to Islamic guidelines, and distributed efficiently to communities with the greatest need.
The distribution journey stretched from rural villages in Java to remote communities in eastern Indonesia, and even to families facing humanitarian hardship in Gaza, Palestine.
Reaching Communities Across Indonesia
The majority of distributions took place throughout Indonesia, covering a wide geographical area and diverse communities.
From North Sumatra, Lampung, Banten, West Java, Central Java, East Java, Yogyakarta, Maluku, East Nusa Tenggara, to Southeast Sulawesi, local partners helped identify vulnerable families, coordinate logistics, and ensure fair distribution.
Many of these areas are home to small farming communities, daily wage workers, elderly residents living alone, or families with limited access to nutritious food. For them, qurbani is not merely a tradition, it is often one of the few occasions in a year when animal protein becomes accessible to the entire household.

Beyond Indonesia, Qurbani Giving 2026 also reached Gaza, Palestine, through collaboration with local humanitarian partners.
