The joy of Eid has been celebrated. Families have gathered, takbir has echoed, and hearts have been filled with gratitude. As we move forward from the beautiful month of Ramadan and the celebration of Eid al-Fitr, one question remains: How do we keep the spirit of Ramadan alive throughout the rest of the year?

At Dompet Dhuafa USA, we believe that while Ramadan may end, the mission of compassion, worship, and service continues. The values we nurtured during Ramadan; generosity, empathy, and devotion are not meant to stay in one month alone, but to guide us throughout our lives.

Reflections Beyond Ramadan

Ramadan gave us the chance to purify our hearts and renew our intentions. Now, it’s time to transform those moments into movement, a lasting impact for those in need.

As we transition from fasting to feasting, from daily taraweeh to ordinary nights, let’s carry the momentum into purposeful actions that reflect the mercy of this faith.

Ongoing Programs You Can Support

Here are some of the key programs that continue after Eid, programs where your post-Ramadan giving can truly make a difference:

  1. Quran for Prisoners

Many incarcerated Muslims are seeking peace, forgiveness, and spiritual growth. Through this program, we distribute Qur’ans to prisons across the United States, helping inmates reconnect with faith and begin a path of inner transformation. Donate here: https://bit.ly/quranddusa

  1. Quran Braille for the Visually Impaired

This initiative ensures that visually impaired Muslims have access to the Qur’an in Braille, allowing them to read and memorize the holy book independently. Your support fosters inclusion and dignity in worship for every believer. Donate here: https://bit.ly/quranbrailleddusa

  1. Orphan Sponsorship Program

Beyond Eid gifts, we provide ongoing support for orphans, covering essentials like education, healthcare, clothing, and emotional care. Sponsoring a child is one of the most beautiful and continuous forms of sadaqah. Donate here: https://bit.ly/sponsorddusa

Fulfill Fidyah and Zakat Mal

If you were unable to fast during Ramadan due to illness, pregnancy, or other reasons and cannot make up the days, fidyah is required. Your fidyah helps feed the poor and ensures no one is left behind.

And for those eligible to give zakat mal, this sacred obligation purifies your wealth and supports the most vulnerable across the globe. It is not too late; your zakat is still urgently needed.

Both forms of giving can be fulfilled through Dompet Dhuafa USA with full transparency and trust.

Although Ramadan has passed, the opportunity to give, uplift, and purify us continues. The habits we built don’t need to fade; they can become part of our daily lives. Let this post-Ramadan period be a reminder: Our duty to serve others continues, through every season.

“The most beloved deeds to Allah are those that are done consistently, even if they are small.” Prophet Muhammad (Sahih al-Bukhari)
